There is an encouraging trend developing in many communities across this country; a trend towards programming supporting fathers in at-risk families. As dads are stepping up and discovering new ways to parent their children, social service agencies are doing their part too.
The mission is simple: to reduce hunger with dignity, build community and foster sustainability. And with four markets in total, Quest Food Exchange, British Columbia’s largest not-for-profit food exchange program is working tirelessly to do just that.
Purposefully nestled in between Penticton Secondary School and ConnectEd, Hand in Hand Infant/Toddler Centre is a thriving partnership between Penticton & District Community Resources Society and School District #67.
The Foundation was created on the vision of helping create vibrant and healthy communities. By working in partnership with local organizations, the Foundation seeks to actively contribute to meaningful projects that make a positive and lasting impact upon community life.
