Riyaz Devji

Originally from London, England, Riyaz moved to Vancouver more than 50 years ago, where he and his wife raised two daughters. Riyaz entered the family business, North American Tea and Coffee Inc., in 1977. He later became the sole owner of the company, and expanded it to become one of Canada’s largest private-label manufacturing and distribution companies.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        

Peter Podovinikoff

Peter Podovinikoff is one of the founders of the First West Foundation. He is a Certified General Accountant (CGA) and retired from the executive team of Envision Financial in 2004. For his extensive community work, Mr. Podovinikoff was awarded the Commemorative Medal for the Golden Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. 

Jeff Dyck

Born and raised in Abbotsford, Jeff lives with his wife and three children in Yarrow and has been a credit union member for more than 30 years.  Jeff is currently the president of Terravista Enterprises Ltd., a lower-mainland IT services company. Jeff earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with Distinction from Trinity Western University, where he discovered his interest in strategic planning and corporate finance.

Cathy McIntyre

Cathy is a senior executive with over 30 years of business and board experience.  Known for corporate strategy, all aspects of marketing, branding, communications, consumer research and stakeholder engagement, Cathy began her career as a marketing and communications professional in a number of multi-national corporations.

Richard Hill

As president and owner of Yellow Point Lodge Ltd., Richard has many years of experience in the hospitality industry. Richard is a strong community supporter and is the founder of the ongoing “Kick One In” program that helps Vancouver Island food banks feed families.
