The 2021 granting cycle is now CLOSED.

Expressions of Interest (EOI) are open and will be held for review for the 2022 grant cycle. 

The Envision Financial Community Endowment is funding in the following two focus areas:

Promoting Resilient and Resourceful Communities - grant funding is $10,000 - $20,000 per project

For the purposes of our grants, funding is primarily for programs/projects aimed at those who are affected by socio-economic factors such as poverty, crime, violence, abuse, unemployment, underemployment, single parents, hunger, homelessness, lack of education, mental health/addictions.

  • Funding will be available for a wide range of programs/projects supported through multiple charitable avenues to address the funding focus
  • Types of programs/projects that will be considered for funding include:
    • Counseling
    • Education/ classes
    • Outreach services
    • Prevention programs

Strengthening the Social Service Sector  - grant funding is $5,000 - $10,000 per project

  • This funding is intended to support internal learning needs that address the growth of a given organization in areas of leadership, planning, teamwork, or organizational development
  • Types of projects that will be considered for funding include:
    • Leadership training
    • Volunteer drives and training
    • Governance training and consulting
    • Strategic and organizational planning support
    • Internal workshops and teamwork exercises
    • Infrastructure support (e.g., office equipment)
    • Capital funding

Applications will be considered using the following criteria

  • Preference is given to programs/projects benefiting the communities in which Envision Financial operates (Delta, Surrey, Langley, Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Mission, Hope, Kitimat, Maple Ridge, Coquitlam).
  • The requesting organization should be contributing toward some of the program/project costs or should be raising funds from other sources, as the Foundation’s role is one of partnership.
  • Proposals should be for specific programs or projects that clearly support the given focus area.
  • Programs/Projects should benefit many and offer equal access.

If you are interested in applying for a grant with our next granting cycle, please fill out our expression of interest form. We may follow up with you to discuss your program/project further and if it fits within our criteria, you will be invited to submit a full application for a grant.
